What does our agenda look like for the year? At our Kick-Off meeting we selected a ‘Focus Group’ engaged in an area of particular interest, such as ‘Using Google Apps in the Classroom’ or ‘Student Response Systems as a tool for formative assessment’. The goal was to select a technology tool that will enhance your teaching - and students learning - in your classroom. You will remain in this group for the school year, improving your level of skills and knowledge in integrating instructional technology throughout your curriculum through peer support and collaboration - by learning and working together as a team with a common goal. You will also be asked to strengthen their own leadership and professional development skills by sharing your newfound skills and knowledge with the staff at your building and/or district. We will have a meeting in late January as a mid-year booster and progress check-in. Our last meeting in May will be a showcase for sharing your Focus Groups accomplishments with the entire cadre. 2 Graduate credits are available from Southern Oregon University for this cadre if you commit to the following criteria:
